Job Decriptions:
  • 1st Tier Support Technician. Hardware/Software Support
  • Implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of Data Centre infrastructure and services, including but not limited to server and storage hardware, LAN and WAN services, and availability of infrastructure services.
  • Develop operational, installation, configuration and upgrade documentation for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, software and other computer related systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between other technical staff, management, users, and vendors regarding service requests, usage, standards, security, and other technical matters.
  • Work within our ticketing system to create detailed work logs and technical documentation
  • Triage and escalate complex issues to Tier 2 Management appropriately
  • Remotely provide hardware and software support, including the installation of new software and updates when required, across all supported sites
  • Proactively monitor client technology infrastructure to identify and resolve issues before downtime occurs

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or IT related field
  • Work experience 0-2 years
  • Good communication skill in English
  • Having through knowledge of current OS and enterprise software:
  • Operating System : Windows 2008/2012
  • Active Directory / DNS /DHCP Server
  • Enterprise Software
  • Anti Virus : McAfee Antivirus
  • Backup : IBM TSM
  • Network Monitor : OpManager / AppManager
  • Having knowledge and skill in SAN Storage
  • Having knowledge and skill in Routing and Switching
  • Have a knowledge virtualization and related
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
